A day With Precious Plastic Shanghai
The Swedbrand team here in Shanghai had the pleasure to host a Workshop on reusable plastic organized by the co-founders of Precious Plastic Shanghai. They are a global community of people working towards a solution to plastic pollution.
This community of more than 40 thousand people creates tools that make it easier to start recycling plastic. Their knowledge, tools and techniques are shared online, for free. So, everyone can start doing their part (yes, you too!).
To read more about what we have learned and how this wonderful community works, you´ll find the article here!
A Chat with Sarah
Earlier in January we talked with our Account Manager Sarah from our Shanghai office. She is mainly working with the Swiss market, but also helps with the German and Austrian one. Sarah has lived and studied in Hangzhou, her second home, but was born and raised in The Toggenburg Valley, in the Swiss Alps. Sarah loves to travel, take photos of buildings and hang out with her fiancée and friends.

A light of Hope for The Rainforest
Rainforests are tall, dense and serve as the Earth’s oldest ecological system. They represent the foundation for life on earth and without this tropical environment, the earth cannot breathe. Regardless we keep on burning down these fantastic forests around the earth.
The German designers Mitja Schneehage and Michael Wilde have developed a unique lamp with parts made of burnt forest wood, aimed to save our planet, one bulb at a time. They “took what’s lost to save what remains.”
To learn more about this great design and the fight for our rainforests, you can find the full article here!
